Our Annual General Dinner Meeting was held on Tuesday Feb. 27th at the Newcastle Community Hall. We had a very enjoyable evening with great entertainment, delicious food from Old Newcastle House, fun photos and networking. Over 80 were in attendance. We have added 26 new members since October to the Chamber roster.
We initiated a new award for members for Recognition of their work in our community. The 3 recipients were Vatandoust-Sirrs Real Estate Team for their 7 years of providing Christmas dinner to the Food Bank, Boston Pizza for hosting Christmas dinner and gifts for needy families and New Massey House Restaurant for their 17 years of hosting Greek Nights for Bowmanville Hospital. All these businesses give their time to help in so many ways.
