As new President of the Newcastle & District Chamber of Commerce, I welcome everyone to another great year of Chamber events. I thank all our members for their continued support of the Chamber and its Board. I became a Chamber Director in 2013 to become more involved with my community and as a local business owner, to work with other business owners to build a strong business environment.

Hometown Olympians!

The Municipality of Clarington is proud to recognize & celebrate two hometown Olympians who are representing Canada (and Clarington!)
at the Sochi 2014 Olympics!

GO TARA GO!!                                  GO MATT GO!!

Clarington’s Tara Watchorn of Newcastle Village plays defence for Canada’s Women’s Hockey Team in Sochi and scored a goal in her debut game to help Canada win 5-0 over Switzerland.
